The Punjab Boards Committee of Chairmen (PBCC) has officially confirmed that the Matric Result 2025 for all educational boards across Punjab will be declared on Wednesday, July 24, 2025, at 10:00 AM. This decision was finalized during a high-level meeting of PBCC members held on June 14, 2025.
This simultaneous announcement will cover all nine educational boards of Punjab, including BISE Lahore, BISE Gujranwala, BISE Faisalabad, BISE Multan, BISE Sargodha, BISE Rawalpindi, BISE Bahawalpur, BISE DG Khan, and BISE Sahiwal. Students from these boards who appeared in the Secondary School Certificate (SSC) Part II exams earlier this year will be able to access their results on the same day.
Reason Behind Result Delay
Initially expected earlier, the declaration of results has been delayed due to the incomplete evaluation of answer sheets. Sources within the education departments revealed that several boards were unable to finalize the paper marking in time. This delay in assessment processes directly impacted the result compilation.
However, officials have assured that all necessary steps are now being taken to expedite the remaining evaluations. The boards have ramped up their efforts to ensure that the result declaration proceeds smoothly and accurately by the revised date.
BISE Rawalpindi Cancels HSSC-I Paper Over Out-of-Syllabus Questions
In another major development, the Board of Intermediate and Secondary Education (BISE) Rawalpindi has announced the cancellation of the History of Islam paper for HSSC Part-I. This decision came after several students reported that the paper contained questions that were not aligned with the officially prescribed syllabus.
As complaints mounted on the day of the exam, invigilators notified the board administration. After reviewing the situation, BISE Rawalpindi promptly took the decision to cancel the paper to protect student interests and maintain examination standards.
New Exam Date Announced
According to BISE Rawalpindi officials, the rescheduled History of Islam paper will now be conducted on Tuesday, June 17, 2025, during the morning session. All students will appear at their previously assigned examination centers under the same roll numbers and seating arrangements.
The board also reaffirmed its commitment to transparency and fairness, stating that strict measures will be implemented to prevent such issues in future papers.
