Here’s Pakistan’s 16-Man Test Squad for Australia Series

The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) has named their Test squad for the forthcoming series against Australia. There have been a few changes to the team that faced Bangladesh previously.

Babar Azam will lead the team, which will include Mohammad Rizwan, Hasan Ali, Fawad Alam, and Shaheen Afridi, the cricketer of the year.

Abid Ali, the opener, will not play in the three-match series since he is recovering from Acute Coronary Syndrome, which he suffered a few months ago. Shan Masood, an in-form hitter, has been restored to the Test team in lieu of Abid. Shan last played for Pakistan in early 2021 and has been recalled following his outstanding achievements in the upcoming Pakistan Super League and the Quaid-e-Azam Trophy.

The forthcoming series’ training camp will begin on February 16 at National Stadium Karachi. Players who are not currently enrolled in the PSL will be obliged to attend the camp at first.
