Pakistanis on Top as ICC Issues Latest Rankings for ODIs and T20Is

In the latest International Cricket Council (ICC) rankings, Babar Azam, Pakistan’s all-format skipper, has maintained his top status in both ODIs and T20Is. Babar is still ranked number 9 in Test cricket, and is the only batsman in the top 10 in all three forms, alongside Virat Kohli.

In the ICC ODI batter rankings, Babar Azam is followed by Indian duo Virat Kohli and Rohit Sharma. Despite playing a three-match ODI series against the West Indies, both hitters were unable to close the gap on Babar.

Mohammad Rizwan, the outstanding wicket-keeper batter, is still ranked second in the ICC T20I batter rankings, while Shaheen Afridi, the express pacer, is still ranked fifth in the ICC Test bowler rankings.

Fakhar Zaman, who broke into the top 10 ODI batter rankings, is still placed 9th in the ICC T20I bowling rankings, while Shadab Khan is still ranked 9th in the ICC T20I bowler rankings.

Josh Hazelwood, an Australian pacer, made the only notable change in the standings. After a great series against Sri Lanka, Hazelwood climbed to his career-high of second place in the ICC T20I bowler rankings. In the next series against Australia, the Pakistani team will be aiming to improve their ranking. Three Test matches, three One-Day Internationals, and one T20I will make up Australia’s historic visit of Pakistan.
