Multan Sultans defeated Islamabad United by a comfortable margin of six wickets. Despite a poor performance, Islamabad qualified for the PSL7 play-offs thanks to a higher net run rate than Quetta Gladiators.

Multan, too, got off to a shaky start, losing three wickets in the first few overs. With 6 wickets in hand and over two overs to play, Mohammad Rizwan and David Willey built the remainder of the innings and comfortably chased down the score.
