WhatsApp does, however, allow corporate accounts to use “Using Away Messages.” When you’re busy or out of the office, you can use this feature. Users can schedule messages to be sent to all of their contacts or just a subset of them. They can even program an away message to activate automatically at specific periods, such as when your firm is closed.
Here is how to set away messages on WhatsApp
Step 1: Tap More options > Business tools > Away message
Step 2: Turn on Send away message
Step 3: Tap the message to edit it > OK
Step 4: Under Schedule, tap and choose among the following options:
At all times, always transmit the automatic message
Create a custom schedule to only send the automated message at particular times.
Only outside of business hours should the automated message be sent (This option is only available if you have set your business hours in your business profile).
Step 5: Under Recipients, tap and choose between:
Anyone who messages you after business hours should receive the automatic message.
To send the automatic message to numbers that aren’t in your address book, everyone who isn’t in your address book.
Except… to send the automated message to all phone numbers except a few.
Only send to… if you only want to send the automated message to a few people.
