PCB Set to Reduce Ticket Prices for Pakistan-Australia Test Series

To attract the largest possible throng to the stadium, the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) has decided to give affordable tickets to cricket fans for the three-match Test series between Pakistan and Australia.

According to The News, a single Test series ticket will not cost more than Rs. 500 each day. The ticket prices will vary from Rs. 100 to Rs. 500. The ticket price for the public stands would be as low as Rs. 100 per day.

The Australian national cricket team will visit Pakistan for the first time in 24 years, and the PCB has chosen to make it as easy as possible for cricket fans to attend the matches and follow the action live.

“We’re holding off on selling tickets until the official series logo is revealed.” Tickets for the Test series are expected to go on sale in the next three days. For most of the first Test’s days, we anticipate a crowded or near-capacity Pindi Stadium. “When it comes to international matches, the sister cities have always responded favorably,” a PCB official stated.

“We already have a hundred percent capacity for Pakistan Super League (PSL) matches,” the official stated in response to an inquiry about NCOC approval for a hundred percent capacity. With the COVID-19 infection rate lowering significantly, the possibilities of a sold-out crowd for the series are looking good.” The PCB also intends to invite certain prominent persons to the Test each day and honor them at intervals.
