In the sixth match of the HBL Pakistan Super League (PSL) seventh edition 2022, Lahore Qalandars won the toss and chose to bowl first against Karachi Kings at National Stadium Karachi.
The Karachi Kings have called up Sahibzada Farhan and Umaid Asif, while Mohammad Imran and Tom Lammonby have been dropped. There have been no changes to the Lahore Qalandars squad.
Karachi will make a comeback attempt on Sunday after losing to defending champions Multan Sultan in their first match. After losing their wickets cheaply in the first game, the batters must rediscover their rhythm. Kings scored 124 runs against Multan but were defeated by seven wickets.
Babar Azam and company will attempt to recover against Qalandars and climb the points table from last place.
The Lahore Qalandars have yet to perform this season. After finishing sixth in the points table, Shaheen Shah Afridi replaced Sohail Akhtar in the leadership group. They’ve also made some excellent international signings, including Samit Patel, Ben Dunk, Dean Foxcroft, and David Wiese.
